Uncle Buck

Music has always been playing in the background for Atlanta-native Bucky Smith, who has been on-the-air at WFSH as “Uncle Buck” since 2003. He is a graduate of The Columbia School of Broadcasting in Atlanta and has spent the majority of his 34 year radio career on-the-air and behind the scenes of many Atlanta radio stations. He feels honored to have worked alongside some of Atlanta’s best DJ’s.

He is married to his high school sweetheart Lori and together they have 6 children Miranda, Lauren, Jeremy, Hannah, Connor, and Sara who have blessed them with grandbabies Chloe, Gabriel, Charlotte and grandbaby #4, who will be here in June.

A huge sports fan, his favorite Georgia teams are the Falcons, Braves and UGA Bulldogs. He enjoys listening to all genres of music in his studio and spending time with family and friends at his home in Evans.
